My dad and I realized after awhile of riding the kiddie rides that the boy could come on some of the adult rides... so what did we do??? dragged them on our rides! We started with the boat that flies back and forth. Brayden was terrified and Jack was excited but as the ride started, Jack became terrified and Brayden was laughing out loud! Jack's face is really indescribable but he would basically just hold his breath the entire time we were falling. His mouth would turn into a straight line and his eyes would open wider than I have ever seen them!!! I've never laughed so hard! The funny thing is after the ride he said "I really liked that" but then my dad asked him if he wanted to go again and without hesitation he responded "NO"!
My dad and I tried to sneak them on the white roller coaster and the spider but they sent us away... we are terrible right?!?!
The boys surprisingly loved the free fall and wanted to go again and again. They also really liked the boring airplanes and the haunted mansion! My favorite ride when I was a kid was "Puff" so I made them go on that a couple of times!
My dad was such a trooper and such great help. He turned into a kid himself while we were there and the boys just loved it! This morning they woke up and the first thing they asked was... "are we going to Lagoon again?"!!!
After Lagoon I rushed home to meet some of the hottest girls around!
My friends from the good old high school days! We met here: and after it closed moved here: and yes, if you must know we ate at both places... oh and Jace, my molten rocks your moltens world!
I was such a blast catching up with these girls... again, if I told you about some of the things we talked about this blog would have to have parental supervision so I'll stick with... I freakin' love these girls and have a great time every time I'm with them. I love that Kass came from teaching her aerobics class and wore her mic belt the entire night (happy birthday today Kass), I love that we had to cram into Jacy's car and sit in her car seats, I love that Missy has sworn to never have kids after our horror stories, I love that Tiffany misunderstood something that I was saying and we about peed our pants in translation (I'm still laughing Tiff), I love that we got into an argument about who had to stand next to Ashley in our picture because she weighs 90 pounds!!! I LOVE THESE GIRLS! Thanks for putting this together Ash, it was so much fun!

ReplyDeleteLast night was SO MUCH FUN! I love all my girlfriends so much too, and I'm so glad we all got to see you while you were in town Tice (you really should just move back)! And I love that we just can't stop the party so we have to go restaurant hopping! I'll have to get my pictures posted on my blog too now (I'm the lamest blogger lately). And after having everyone squish into my car, that is proof that I really do NEED a car that seats 8! Next time I'll have actual seats for everyone so Ashley doesn't have to sit on the stroller and Tice and Tiff don't have to sit in car seats!

ReplyDeleteWow TC what a whirlwind vacation!!!! I must say it sounds like you are having way to much fun...can't wait to hear all the "fun" details. We do miss you here...things are not the same without TC around. We sat back by your hubbie yesterday in sacrament meeting and when I looked over at him he definitely looked lonely...I am sure he cannot wait to see you. Glad to hear you have had a wonderful summer. Have a safe trip back...we will see ya soon!
ReplyDeletegosh you are having so much fun! i'm a little jealous! the pics of your boys at lagoon are so cute and i must say that you and your dad are just priceless sneaking them on all the rides. oh, and as much as i want to come to the reunion, it's not gonna happen. too much to travel, can't drive it with my broken arm, and i'm quite upset about it, so you'll just have to tell me all about it. who's changed, who hasn't. who's fat who's thin. ya know all the reasons you go, right?
