Jack started his second year of preschool the day Brayden started Kindergarten. I feel bad but the emotion I had for Brayden over-shadowed any emotion I had for Jack leaving... but let me plead my case. Jack actually has the same schedule that he had last year, preschool 5 days a week for about 3 1/2 hours... so there is nothing to mourn right? He's doing great, loves his BUS... of course, and loves his teacher Mrs. Tanner (who happened to be Brayden's preschool teacher last year).
So far Jack's biggest adjustment to school doesn't have anything to do with him actually going to school... it's the mornings spent without Brayden that has thrown him for a loop. Jack is starting to find his own groove but for the first couple of days he was lost without his big brother! He didn't know what he wanted to play with, or who to play with... poor kid, he totally just goes along with whatever Brayden wants to do. The plus is that he's taken a liking to his little sister and actually is enjoying her instead of always ignoring her!
Jaxtin Jones Jolley
(yeah, I've already told you, it's his real name!)

really that's his name?? haha some awesome baby sitter I am! lol
ReplyDeleteI love the name Jaxtin. That is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love his blonde slightly curly hair.
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so freakin cute! Are you enjoying some of your free time?
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait until Ethan starts preschool in a couple of weeks. The funny thing is it is just down the street but he thinks the school bus is coming to get him and he cannot wait...so you may see me dressed up in a cardboard box painted like a school bus walking down the street!
ReplyDeleteJax! He looks exactly the same as his baby pics except with hair! I'm feeling like a bad mom that my son isn't starting pre-school...
ReplyDeleteCan I just tell you how much Taylen LOVES Jack Jolley!?!?! She was thrilled to see his cute picture on the computer screen! So fun they go to preschool together...We love Mrs. Tanner!
ReplyDeleteI miss him. Are you showing him my picture, because if he calls me Sadie one more time I will punch you.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that. Can I just tell you, those preschool bus rides are the best. They just love it. So funny. Next year he will be so excited because the big bus has no seat belts. This stuff cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteYou have such cute kids! You lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteJackie Bear, grandma loves you!
