My mom came in town to visit ME... aka, her grandkids. We had a nice, relaxing time. We visited the park, went on lots of walks, did laundry, cooked, read, started a blog for "tam the gram", went to the spa, and even found some peaceful moments to watch conference. Yah! Mom's are the best, I'm bummed that I live so far away from mine... sometimes!!! Haha!!! Just kidding mom, I love ya. We we sad she had to go, but no one was sadder than Jack. He sobbed, his little heart was broken. We can't wait to see you again for Thanksgiving!
And don't you worry... my mom left her mark! A couple of the most annoying Halloween toys for Brayden and Jack... THEY ARE SO LOUD!
Sigh.... maybe when we start popping out kids, their grandparents will take spontaneous vacations out to see us....i mean the kids. I don't blame her though, they are way more interesting than us. Jon is a girl.

Yes, grandkids are the best and all those sayings like, "if I'd only known how wonderful grandkids are, I would have skipped the kid part", or "it's great to visit, spoil, make 'um roudy, and then go home", yes grandkids are the best. I will say that daughters are pretty great as well, it is just those son-in-laws that take your daughters and grandkids off to foreign lands that we have issues with. Just kidding Jon and Trav.
