Grandma came to visit!!!... and although it was for less than 48 hours, it was well worth it and a lot of fun. On Friday night we had Jen and Ryan over for games and dinner (Jon won… grrrr!). On Saturday we had Brayden’s first birthday party (yes there has been 2, and one more still coming). We went to the park and played, ate cake and ice cream, hit candy out of a piƱata, and opened presents… it was a lot of fun for the kiddo’s. Then on Saturday night we went to the Powell’s Valentines Day party (previously posted). Some of you want to know what my mom won… I’ll never tell, but maybe she will when she updates her ever so neglected blog! Then on Sunday we went to our way too early church (8:00 am) while my mom stayed home with Anabelle who was sporting a little cold. After church we met up with our friends Michelle and Nick and their son Drew and ate a yummy picnic at the park… all in all, it was a busy weekend but WAY fun, and even better with the company of Grandma Jones (sorry mom, but the “hip” title of “Tam the Gram” isn’t sticking with the kids… you ARE grandma Jones!).
Here's what my mom won! She turned the label around!!!
Here's the kiddo's at the "Superhero Party"
"Super Parents!!!"

Happy Birthday Brayden!
So Brayden is officially 5, February 21, 2003. Again, I am reminded of how old I am getting! I can’t believe we have a 5 year old Jon! On Brayden’s “official” birthday we went to Chucky Cheese. We were supposed to see Grandpa Jolley who was visiting from Utah but he got a terrible cold and had to postpone his trip. Unfortunately for us (and fortunate for Brayden and Jack) we talked about going to Chucky Cheese so much that even without Grandpa, we were bound to go. So now when Grandpa comes at the end of March, we’ll be going again… what a spoiled little 5 year old!... but worth everything to us.

Today we went to the zoo for Jack’s preschool field trip. I kept Brayden out of school so he could come with us, and it was SO chaotic! I was happy that I left Anabelle with her aunt Jen so I could chase after the boys. I honestly think the only animals we saw were turtles and iguanas because the boys wanted to play in the “play house” for the entire time. I don’t think I’ll be getting a zoo pass this year!!!

Okay, so I really am going private, I’ve just been super busy and now that I have time I just want to post!! If you haven’t emailed me or left me a comment with your email address then do it… or else! And believe me, if you think you are a weirdo for admitting that you check my blog you are NOT! I’m a pretty impressive blog surfer myself!!!
Oh, and one more thing, I cut 10 inches off of my hair! I couldn’t donate to Locks of Love because my hair was so layered, bummer! Anyway, I was going to take a picture to show you, and ended up doing this... face it, I'm married to Jon, he's taught me to act like this!

What's wrong with me you guys?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!

Love the hair!!!! You are so brave and beautiful. We really need to meet up... plan a girls trip to Vegas already! I miss you...
ReplyDeletep.s. I am all private now! Sooo time consuming! Make sure to type slowly or you have to go back and check each one... ugh...
ReplyDeleteI love the hair!!!! I need help with the pictures...I posted some but still am in need of help :) I will call tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteWhat!! You're telling me today wasn't the best day of your life?! I mean seriously, who wouldn't want to do that everyday? At least you were able to get a few pics. Kenzy slept for 3 1/2 hrs when we got home! Add my email to your VIP list trentandmandy@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteTC YOU ARE HOT!! BRAYDEN IS 5!! Happy Birthday Brayden! The zoo looked funnn! I miss you!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks cute short! The zoo and party looked like fun, but nothing can compare to Chucky Cheese! Fun times!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're havin lots of fun in the SUN!! The haircut looks super cute! I'm too chicken to ever cut my hair. It has to be able to fit in a pony tail and I can't handle the bangs in the face thing. But I probably should change my hair style sometime, I've had the same boring one for like 10 years. I don't think I could pull it off as well as you. Maybe someday...
ReplyDeleteYour hair is so cute. I meant to tell you on Sunday and never got to chat with you. See you at scrap night!
ReplyDeleteI love it too you are so lovely and have the best eye's ever. love Suzanne
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love the hair it looks really good with your "huge round face" and I also love the color, is that more natural? Secondly, that looked like a kick-A party. I'm sick of living far away and missing things like that. I'm moving! Thirdly, I have to post 5 things I love about Brayden
ReplyDelete1) How he loves to learn and gets so obsessed with one thing (like his Dad)
2) When he gets all wound up and crazy, there is no stopping that kid
3) His personality is hilarious... he really is so much like his parents (and Jack sure isn't)
4) He is a lefty (that's probably the main reason I really like him)
5) He has the sweetest heart, even if he is a "brat" he always comes around and is a sweety!
Ok I think I'm done now. I miss the crazy Jolley's. And Bella looks so nice and sweet!
You are so freaking cute! Your hair is gorgeous - I love it! And, I really love your blog - very entertaining!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! Do you love it more? Addi is at the stage where she thinks it is so stinkin funny to pull out mommy's hair from the root. I realize that the only thing to really solve it would be to shave my head and dont think that I havent thought about it, but anyway, cute hair!
ReplyDeleteBrayden is so cute, I want a super hero party myself! You need to add me to your list before I get blocked:
amkoford@weber.k12.ut.us
TC! Hey good to hear from you! Add me to your list. My email is devanielea@hotmail.com! You have such a cute family! I always talk to my Mom about You & your cute family!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks awesome! I can't wait to see you again. We need to plan something soon!
ReplyDeleteThis will be short for now, cuz I have to go to a lab--no we don't pet white mice and wear a white coat, we have to design experiments--please just shoot me--just one bullet--please. Camille Goldy and Camille Charles--you are the people that kept telling me to do the "paper" at the last minute--just stay up all night. Well I did and all I can say is don't turn your back on me! I am one nasty, honery (spelling) 40 something year old.
ReplyDeleteTC love the hair it adds more sass to you, which you didn't need anymore of!!!!! Anyone out there, yes I am comparing and I DO HAVE THE CUTEST GRANDKIDS--don't mess with me!!!
(Nodding emphatically with approval)
ReplyDeleteOh, I LURVE the hair TC!!! That's an incredible cut on you. Gives me some courage to contemplate a similar move.
And Happy Birthday to the little man - mine will be 5 in a few months and I just don't want to think about it. :0(
You look younger with your short hair. : ) I cant believe you are the mom of a 5 year old!! What happened to the days at SLCC?? Am I living in the past too much? hehe
ReplyDeleteYour mom is right -- your cute short hair adds to your sassy-ness! But, I'm not so sure your "stomp" needs any more help!! Love ya TC! And yep, you're old - I'm old - we're all old!
ReplyDeleteLove your hair!
ReplyDeleteTell Jon that Tommy appreciated all of the games that they played because it really did help him in his tourney.
Brayden's party looks like it was a blast! And your mom was there - even more fun!
Miss you guys!
Ashley
I like your new hair cut! And ohmigosh, you are NOT old silly!!! You crack me up!
ReplyDeleteLoved talking to you today lady, I laughed a lot, ...good times, you and I, ...peculiar, but good. ANYWAYS, I absolutely love the cut. You look so glamorous and sophisticated. And yes, we really are getting older. It's totally weird, I know, ...soon it'll be our funerals, and everyone we love will talk about how wonderfully peculiar we were at our funeral. --- Yes, I know you love me sooo much right now, (does anyone else know this peculiar fact about you?)Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, Peculiar Funeral, seriously I love you too!
